Accreditation

Our department, which joined academic life with its undergraduate program in the 2013-2014 academic year, aims to train the Industrial Engineers of the future with its strong and growing staff in terms of teaching and research. In order to achieve these goals, we have determined, excited, expert academic staff, modern and sufficient laboratory and campus facilities. In order to consolidate our strength, as the Department of Industrial Engineering,  we apply for MÜDEK accreditation.

MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs) is an independent organization operating to contribute to the improvement of the quality of engineering education by conducting accreditation, evaluation and information studies for engineering education programs in various disciplines. The aim of MÜDEK is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of engineering education by conducting accreditation, evaluation and information studies for engineering education programs in different disciplines, thus ensuring that the welfare of the society is improved by educating better trained and more qualified engineers who understand current and developing technologies.

  • It is recognized as a national quality assurance organization by YÖK for the accreditation of engineering programs.
  • ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) member.
  • Authorized by ENAEE to issue EUR-ACE® (EURopean-ACcredited Engineer) label.
  • WA (Washington Accord) member.

ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) deals with the  education of engineers, whose importance is increasing especially in the global economy. ENAEE aims to improve and contribute to the quality of engineering education graduates in order to facilitate their professional mobility and develop their individual and collective skills to meet the needs of the economy and society. To achieve these goals, ENAEE authorizes accreditation and quality assurance organizations to award the EUR-ACE® label to the engineering degree programs it will accredit. EUR-ACE® (EURopean-ACcredited Engineer) is an accreditation system that identifies high-quality engineering degree programs in Europe and outside Europe and provides a set of standards. IEA (International Engineering Alliance) is a global non-profit association that organizes international agreements on engineering education and professional competencies in 29 countries. These international agreements aim to ensure the quality and professional competence of engineering education. To achieve these objectives, the IEA empowers accreditation and quality assurance bodies to award the WA (Washington Accord) label to the engineering degree programs it will accredit.
